SMS Opt-In Workflow

Wildfire Promotions LLC
Prepared for toll-free verification of +1 (888) 969-6093
Last updated: September 11, 2026

This page documents how a guest consents to receive the one transactional text message this toll-free number sends. It is the opt-in evidence referenced on our toll-free verification submission.

Sender: Wildfire Promotions LLC

What this number sends: One transactional MMS delivering a photo the guest asked for. Nothing else.

Consent mechanism: The guest voluntarily enters their own mobile number on our device, on the same screen as a disclosure statement.

Frequency: One message per photo. No recurring messages, no follow-ups, and no marketing from this number.

How consent is captured

Wildfire Promotions operates a roaming branded photo experience at live events. An operator approaches a guest and offers them a free photo. If the guest wants it sent to them, they type their own mobile number into a mobile touchpoint, a tablet the operator carries. Nobody enters it on their behalf.

The photo appears on the left of the screen and the number-entry panel on the right. A layered-disclosure statement sits directly beneath the photo, on screen before any number is typed:

By entering your number, you agree to receive your event photo by text from Wildfire. Details

The “Details” link opens our full SMS/MMS Terms of Service & Privacy Policy, which discloses sender identity, message frequency, message and data rates, STOP and HELP support, opt-out instructions, and data handling. Entering the number and tapping Confirm is the act of consent, and it consents to exactly one transactional message.

The workflow, step by step

Number entry screen with the disclosure statement visible
1. Number entry. The guest sees the photo just taken and a numeric keypad. The disclosure statement is on screen beneath the photo before any number is entered. Confirm stays inactive until a complete number is present.
Complete number entered by the guest, Confirm now active
2. The guest types their own number. Confirm becomes active only once the number is complete. The disclosure remains visible the entire time.
Number confirmed and held in the queue, with a delete control
3. The number is confirmed and queued. The entry carries a delete control that removes the number and its consent record together, as a single unit. If a guest mistypes a digit, deleting the entry deletes the consent with it, so a consent record can never remain attached to a number belonging to someone who was not at the event. The guest simply re-enters.
A second guest entering their own number on the same device
4. Each guest in a group photo enters separately. Several people often appear in one photo. Each types their own number. No guest can consent on another guest’s behalf.
Both numbers queued and ready to send
5. Send. Each queued number carries its own consent record and receives one MMS containing the photo and a download link. Nothing further is ever sent to either number from this toll-free number.

Why photo delivery has no consent checkbox

The message is requested by the person who receives it. The guest decides whether to take part and types their own number to get the photo. It is single-purpose, one-time and transactional. There is no program to enroll in and nothing recurring to consent to.

Twilio Programmable Messaging Support reviewed this exact workflow and confirmed in writing that a layered-disclosure approach is acceptable for it, and that a checkbox is not required for this type of transactional flow — ticket 27618680, June 24, 2026.

About the optional event-partner opt-in

This is disclosed for completeness. It is not part of what this toll-free number sends.

At some events, the event’s partner asks to invite guests to opt in to that partner’s own marketing. Where that applies, a separate, optional checkbox is shown after the guest confirms their number. It is unchecked by default, names the partner, links to that partner’s own terms and privacy policy, and states that consent is not required for the photo. The photo is delivered whether the guest checks it or declines. The feature is configured per event and does not appear at events without a participating partner, which is the configuration shown in the screenshots above.

Wildfire Promotions does not use this toll-free number to send an event partner’s marketing messages, and never has. Any partner who collects consent this way sends from their own messaging infrastructure under their own sender registration. This number carries transactional photo delivery only, which is what its registered use case describes.

Two consents, two moments

Transactional consent for the photo happens at number entry, under its own disclosure, and is the only consent that concerns this number. Where a partner opt-in exists at all, it happens afterward, in its own window, under its own disclosure, tied to an identified number. They are never combined into a single action, and the second is never required for the first.
